A bespoke Ghost theme, structured publishing workflow and CDN-backed delivery for a technology-focused publication. The 2025 implementation brought content management, reader discussion and real-user performance monitoring together.
The problems to solve.
Shravonix needed a distinctive publishing platform with a manageable editorial workflow. The brief combined brand-specific layouts, independent content updates, global delivery and support for discussion and syndication without relying on an off-the-shelf theme.
What we built instead.
A theme built for the publication
The custom Ghost theme established consistent typography, navigation and article layouts around Shravonix's content structure. Reusable page patterns supported a recognizable reading experience as the archive expanded.
Publishing without a developer in the loop
Ghost CMS 6.8 handled the editorial workflow and blog architecture. The supplied implementation stack combined React components with Node.js and Express, while the CMS gave the team direct control over publishing.
Delivery, visibility and discussion
Cloudflare supplied the CDN and Browser Insights monitoring. Bunny Fonts, the Google Font API, jsDelivr and cdnjs supported font and asset delivery. Giscus added reader discussions, while RSS and Open Graph supported distribution and sharing.
Project outcomes.
Delivered a custom publishing theme and a maintainable CMS foundation with content ownership, performance monitoring and community features. CDN integration supported global delivery; no measured traffic or speed improvement is claimed.
